MENTOR<\/span><\/strong><\/p><\/h1><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

DIRE MENTOR is an extension of DIRE, also literature-based, for students in grades 4 through 6 and sometimes for older students as well. MENTOR is a natural progression from DIRE, but is not a prerequisite, and challenges students to become mentors in their communities. It encourages understanding different perspectives using six problem-solving strategies:<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

    Note the points of view
    Find a way to take action
<\/strong>    Where are we now?
<\/strong>    Seeking help<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>
